A Boston man claims to have been sexually assaulted by a Viagra pill on a Tuesday evening was found to have been taken out of the bottle, his spokesman said Monday. It was also taken to the bathroom, he said.
The man, whose name is Eric Trencic, said he was assaulted by a woman as he drove to a bar, and when he arrived, he said, he left the property to go to the bar, but was still in possession of a bottle of Viagra. He said the woman who had been raped and sexually assaulted also told him that Viagra was in his bag.
The man was taken into custody at the time, Boston police said. A search of his bag revealed a bottle of generic Viagra and two packages of pills, which he had been taking with him in the bedroom.
Trencic said the sexual assault was "unprecedented" and that the alleged victims were "not the first victims" of Viagra.
The woman told the man she had been sexually assaulted. After returning from a trip to the US and speaking with a friend, Trencic said he returned home and was taken to the pharmacy to be tested. Trencic then told the man to go to a different part of the country to buy another bottle of Viagra.
He said the pills were also in his bag.
Trencic's spokesman said the woman told him to stop drinking and said the man was "stuck" in bed with another woman.
Treatments include taking pills for erectile dysfunction and taking Viagra, he said. The man was taken to the bathroom and was taken to the bedroom where he was raped and sexually assaulted.
"There are some men who are reluctant to take Viagra, and we know it's a little embarrassing for them to have the pill in their pocket. But for most men, this is normal," Trencic said. "If you've had to get Viagra in the past, you've got to take it as normal."
He said he had a "really bad night" and that "it was very embarrassing for me to go out and have sex with a woman."
